Ivory Inuit Scrimshaw 2 sided Polar Bear & Eskimo one side & racing sled dogs

Beautiful Genuine Ivory scrimshaw. I assume it is Walrus. Unusual because it has scrimshaw on both sides. Signed please see signature. There is a very faint date that is etched but not inked on the lower right below the signature that is visible in some views. I only just saw it for the first time! It appears to be 1988 or possibly 1986. One scene is an Eskimo ready to shoot a Polar Bear that has attack one of his sled dogs as other sled dogs are having a commotion in the background. The other side is him in his dog sled and he appears to be racing.
It is 10 & 7/8 " long & 2 & 5/8" wide at the wide end tapering to 2 &1/4 " at the narrow end.
It is approximately 1 & 3/8 " thick at the large end and approximately 1 & 1/4" thick at the small end.
Weight is 2.158 lbs
There are small/about 3/8 inch places on either side of the wide ends that appear to be where it may have been attached to something or clamped down at one point. They have never been a detraction from it's beauty.
